Let R be the focus of the parabola y2=20x and the line y=mx+c intersect the parabola at two points P and Q.
Let the point G(10,10) be the centroid of the triangle PQR. If c−m=6, then (PQ)2 is ...

Official solution
y2=20x,y=mx+c
Put value of xy2=20(my−c)⇒y2−m20y+m20c=0.......(i)
Since, centroid =(10,10)3y1+y2+0=10⇒y1+y2=30
From (1),
=m20=30⇒m=32
Also, c−m=6⇒c=6+32=320
Now, the equation is :
y2−220×3y+220×3×320=0⇒y2−30y+200=0⇒y2−20y−10y+200=0⇒(y−20)(y−10)=0⇒y=10,20⇒x=5,x=20∴P≡(5,10),Q≡(20,20)(PQ)2=(20−5)2+(20−10)2=225+100=325
