Official solution
\[\sin\theta\tan\theta+\tan\theta = \sin2\theta \implies \tan\theta(\sin\theta+1) = 2\sin\theta\cos\theta\]
Multiplying both sides by cosθ (valid since θ=±2π):
\[\sin\theta(\sin\theta+1) = 2\sin\theta\cos^2\theta\]
Case sinθ=0: θ=−π,0,π (all valid, cosθ=0 there).
Case sinθ=0: sinθ+1=2cos2θ=2−2sin2θ⟹2sin2θ+sinθ−1=0⟹(2sinθ−1)(sinθ+1)=0
Since sinθ=0, and sinθ=−1 is excluded (θ=−2π∈/ domain), we get sinθ=21⟹θ=6π,65π.
So S={−π,0,π,6π,65π}, n(S)=5.
\[T = \cos(-2\pi)+\cos0+\cos2\pi+\cos\tfrac\pi3+\cos\tfrac{5\pi}3 = 1+1+1+\tfrac12+\tfrac12 = 4\]
T+n(S)=4+5=9
