Let α,β,γ,δ∈Z and let A(α,β),B(1,0),C(γ,δ) and D(1,2) be the vertices of a parallelogram ABCD. If AB=10 and the points A and C lie on the line 3y=2x+1, then 2(α+β+γ+δ) is equal to

Since ABCD is a parallelogram, the diagonals AC and BD bisect each other. Midpoint of BD: (21+1,20+2)=(1,1), so midpoint of AC is also (1,1): α+γ=2,β+δ=2.
A(α,β) lies on 3y=2x+1, and with AB=10: (α−1)2+β2=10. Combined with 3β=2α+1, and requiring integer solutions, gives α=−2,β=−1 (or symmetric choice); then γ=4,δ=3.
\[2(\alpha+\beta+\gamma+\delta) = 2((\alpha+\gamma)+(\beta+\delta)) = 2(2+2)=8\]
