Official solution
Let a \& d are first term and common diff of an AP.
\[S40=240[2a+39d]=1030..... (1)S12=212[2a+11d]=57..... (2)\]
by (1) \& (2)
\[a=−27d=23∴S30−S10=230[2a+29d]−210[2a+9d]=20a−390d=515\]
