Official solution
\[A + B = \left[ {(253−1) } \right] = P(say)\]
Now \[A = {{P + {P^T}} \over 2}\& B = {{P - {P^T}} \over 2}\]
So \[A = {1 \over 2}\left( {\left[ {(253−1) } \right] + \left[ {(235−1) } \right]} \right) = \left[ {(244−1) } \right]\]
\[B = {1 \over 2}\left( {\left[ {(253−1) } \right] - \left[ {(235−1) } \right]} \right) = \left[ {(01−10) } \right]\]
So \[AB = \left( {\left[ {(244−1) } \right]\left[ {(01−10) } \right]} \right) = \left[ {(4−1−2−4) } \right]\] Answer the question to unlock
