\[\int\frac{\sqrt{2}\,dx}{2\cos^4x-\cos2x} = -\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}\tan^{-1}(\sqrt{2}\cot2x).\]
So I.F. =e−tan−1(2cot2x), and ye−tan−1(2cot2x)=2x2+c.
Using y(π/4)=π2/32⇒c=0. So y=2x2etan−1(2cot2x). At x=π/3:
\[y = \frac{\pi^2}{18}e^{-\tan^{-1}(2/3)} \implies \alpha=\frac23 \implies 3\alpha^2=2.\]
