Given equation is :
xdxdy−sin2y=x3(2−x3)cos2y,x=0
Divide by xcos2ysec2ydxdy−xcos2ysin2y=x2(2−x3)sec2ydxdy−x2tany=2x2−x5
Substitute tany=t and differentiate w.r.t xsec2ydxdy=dxdt
Equation (1) becomes linear differential equation.
dxdt−x2t=2x2−x5
Integrating factor IF=e∫(−x2)dx=e−2lnx=eln(x21)=x21
Solution of linear differential equation :
t⋅IF=∫(IF)(2x2−x5)dx⇒t⋅x21=∫x21(2x2−x5)dx⇒x2t=∫(2−x3)dx=2x−4x4+C
put value of t=tanyx2tany=2x−4x4+C
using condition y(2)=0 to find C.
22tan(0)=2×2−424+C⟹C=0
So, solution of differential equation is
tany=2x3−4x6
to calculate tan(y(1)), put x=1 in the solution.
tan(y(1))=2(1)3−4(1)6=2−41=47
