Official solution
We have,
\[
x^2+(y-2)^2 \leq 2^2 \text { and } x^2 \geq 2 y
\]
On solving the given equation of parabola and circle, we get
\[
2y+(y−2)2⇒y=0 or 2=4
\]
If y=0, then x=0 and
If y=2, then x=±2∴ The intersecting point of circle and parabola are (0,0),(−2,2),(2,2)
Area of the shaded region = \[
=2 \times 2-\frac{1}{4} \cdot \pi \cdot 2^2=4-\pi
